形意拳是中華傳統武術三大著名內家拳之一，講究“象其形，取其意”，要求“心意誠于中，肢體形于外”，是非常注重內意和外形高度統一的拳術。以“起如風，落如箭，打倒還嫌慢，硬打硬進無遮攔”，體現出快攻直取、寓守于攻、顧打兼備的技擊特點。

 

  此拳是形意拳競賽的規定套路。它是將形意五行、十二形拳中的典型招式進行重新組合創編的綜合性拳法。此拳內容豐富，動作流暢，布局合理，集實用與觀賞為一體，是形意門富有較高藝術價值的經典套路。
